Description
A research study is evaluating an investigational medication as add-on treatment to standard therapy for patients with severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) experiencing frequent exacerbations.
This research study may be an option if you:
• Have been diagnosed with COPD for at least one year
• Have a history of at least 2 moderate exacerbations (having to use systemic corticosteroids and/or treatment with antibiotics) or 1 severe exacerbation (requiring hospitalization) within the last year
• Are required to be on standard therapy for COPD that includes an inhaler and 2 additional COPD medications
• Are a current or former cigarette smoker with a history of smoking 10 pack-years or more. To calculate your pack-years visit www.smokingpackyears.com.

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.
