Description
A research study is evaluating an investigational medication for the symptoms of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) when used in combination with a proton pump inhibitor.
This research study may be an option if you:
• Have been diagnosed with GERD and are experiencing symptoms such as heartburn or regurgitation on an average of 4 or more days per week
• Are currently taking a proton pump inhibitor such as Lansoprazole (Prevacid*), Omeprazole (Prilosec*), Dexlansoprazole (Kapidex*), Esomeprazole (Nexium*), Pantoprazole (Protonix*), or Rabeprazole (AcipHex*)
• Have no history of diabetes, Crohn’s disease, pancreatitis or diabetic gastroparesis

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.
