Prostate Cancer – Planning Prostatectomy

A clinical research study is now enrolling eligible men who are planning a prostatectomy for localized and locally advanced high-risk prostate cancer.
The purpose of this study is to see if an investigational medication, combined with hormone therapy, is safe and could improve the results of surgery and delay the spread of prostate cancer tumors to other parts of the body.
This research study may be an option if you:
· Have talked with your doctor and have decided to undergo prostate removal surgery
· Have not received prior treatment with antiandrogen
· Have not received pelvic radiation for prostate cancer

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.
Patient Commitment Duration
The commitment for this study is about 5 years, however, the study length may vary by participant.
Financial compensation may be provided for expenses and travel.
