Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction

40 and older
A research study is evaluating an investigational medication that may decrease the risk of cardiovascular events or worsening of heart failure in patients with preserved/normal ejection fraction.
This research study may be an option if you:
• Have been diagnosed with symptomatic heart failure
• Have a documented left ventricular ejection fraction greater than 40% within the last 12 months
• Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) less than 50. Find out your BMI here http://bmicalculator.cc/
• Do not have type 1 diabetes
Other criteria apply. Please make sure to discuss with a member of our research staff to ensure this research study is a good fit for you.
Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication or placebo at no cost.
Patient Commitment Duration
Approximately 3 years
Financial compensation may be provided for time and travel expenses.
